They really are. They're beyond gigantic. But it's so dead there. I would perfer a New York skyscraper over one of sandstone anyday. However, there is beauty in everything and apparently some people find this to be the most awesome sight one can ever set eyes on. To each his own.

I would never prefer a New York skyscraper over this! How did you get the colors? Looks very intense... :)

You wouldn't? lol. Like I said, there are people like yourself who love places like this. As for the colours, they were very intense there. It was a perfect day for getting such vibrancy. I did adjust the contrast a bit, though, as I do with all my photos. Thanks for the comment.
